Miss. Newspaper Announces Plans for ‘Gangbangers’ Rodeo’: ‘Bang, Bang, You’re Dead’

Peter Rinaldi Rinaldi Report - Miss-Lou Magazine Peter Rinaldi, owner and publisher of Miss-Lou Magazine and the Natchez Sun, has caused wide-spread anger with a racist column calling for black youth in Natchez, Miss. who may be involved in gang activity to go to a local park and murder each other for the amusement of observers. In Miss-Lou Magazine’s January 11-24, 2017 print edition, Rinaldi called for a “Gangbangers’ Rodeo” to bleed out what he considers to be the dredges of the community. “As the population becomes more demographically poor, uneducated, unskilled, and dominantly African-American, the number of shootings have gone through the roof,” Rinaldi wrote. And by “through the roof,” Rinaldi means “three shootings, two wounded, and unfortunately two deaths.” But Rinaldi doesn’t consider these deaths to be a bad thing. In fact, he thinks more murders may be helpful. This is not such a bad thing, as one cynic remarked more criminals..

The Lovefest Between Republican Senators and Jeff Sessions During His Confirmation Hearing Is Sickening

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee during his confirmation hearing to become U.S. attorney general Jan. 10, 2017, in Washington, D.C. Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images If there was any lesson to glean about the state of racism in America on Tuesday, it did not come from the farewell address by our nation’s first black president. Many of us might have believed in Barack Hussein Obama but never placed much faith in the country he described on the Democratic National Convention stage in 2004, or the one he boasted of the night of his historic election win in 2008, and most certainly not the one he spoke of last night. To know the United States of America and its true outlook on its original and most enduring sin, racism, one can find no better mirror than the first confirmation hearing for Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, Republican senator from Alabama, whom Obama’s successor seeks to have serve as our next ..
