Chance the Rapper announced on Twitter Thursday that his non-profit, Social Works, will start a film festival in honor of Black History Month.
For the first few days of the month, movie-goers can see “The Wiz” from Feb. 2-3, at the Studio Grill in Chicago. Every week will be met with a new showing, including: “Malcolm X,” “Shot in the Dark,” “Black Panther” and “Ali.” Audience members will only have to pay $7 per ticket either online or at the door.
Other events held by Social Works, include nights at the Chicago Field Museum, an annual toy drive, meet-and-greets with Cramburger creator Cam Meredith and open mike nights.
